Who can attend SEO Sauna?
SEO Sauna is an invite only event, where only the greatest SEO minds come together. You will get an invite if you are invited.
Where is the SEO Sauna event location?
The SEO Sauna Event location might vary from year to year. It can be in the forrest at a summer cottage with real finnish mosquitos that are super annoying, or at a secret location at the capital of Finland. The most important thing is there is a great Sauna and good food.
Is SEO Sauna a Nordic SEO conference?
No, SEO Sauna is not a SEO conference, it is a SEO hackaton event where we work on our own SEO projects together from day to night. It is a private invite only event.
What to drink in a sauna?
It is very important to stay hydrated in the sauna, because it is so hot. Therefore it is very important to grab a drink when you go to the sauna. Good drinks are beer, cider or coca cola. Specially good ones are a Kyrö drink.
What else do you need in a sauna?
You will need a “saunavihta”, and there is no english name for it. But “saunavihta” is a bundle of birch branches traditionally used in the Finnish sauna for gently whipping the body to improve circulation and enhance the sauna experience. If you get too hot in the sauna, use this one even more!!

Proper use involves starting at the head and “driving out ailments” down to the feet, according to Finnish tradition.
It is typically made from either silver birch (hieskoivu) or downy birch (rauduskoivu), with preferences differing based on flexibility and scent.
The best time to make one is around midsummer (late June to early July), as the birch leaves are at their ideal stage.
Will there be dogs at SEO Sauna?
There is a possibility that there will be dogs at SEO Sauna. More so if the attendees wishes so.
